Contemplatively Palatine.

Situated high on the edge of the Haardt, the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest, Bobenheim am Berg is one of our smaller wine villages. We also affectionately call it the "cosy corner" of the holiday region. You will realise why when you stroll through the narrow lanes with their old buildings....

The small community with a view of the sea of vines and the Rhine lowlands seems to have slowed down. The Palatinate Forest starts right on the doorstep, nothing stands in the way of walks or extended hikes. Mediterranean plants already made their home here 1,200 years ago. Of course, wine also plays a major role in Bobenheim am Berg, vineyards such as "Ohligpfad" or "Kieselberg" bear witness to this. A wine barrel with a winegrower resting on it as a fountain monument - to be seen between the village hall and the church - could be understood as a sign of what a gentle resting pillow good wine can be.

The historic bakehouse has been brought back to life, when the old tradition of communal baking has been resumed. Let yourself be inspired by the aroma of freshly baked goods. Bread baked in a stone oven to your own taste is something very special.
Whether at the time of the spring blossom, at the celebration of the "Dorfkerwe" (village wine festival) on the 2nd weekend in August, during a visit in the colourful autumn or at the "Belznickelmarkt" (Christmas fair) on the first weekend in Advent - Bobenheim offers reasons to come and stay at any time of the year.
