Every grape variety has its own character. How the wine ultimately presents itself in the glass is down to the intuition, passion and work of our winemakers.
But there is no way around your own nose and palate. The classification "tastes good to me" or "doesn't taste good to me" is the much quoted basic rule. A wine tasting gives you the opportunity to discover your favourite wine.
We have put together a list of all the winegrowers in Freinsheim. Each winery is organised differently, so you can just drop in at some wineries, others open their farm gates at fixed times or ask for prior notification to ensure that someone can look after you. Especially if you want a wine tasting, it is advisable to contact them in advance.
Whatever the case, all are united by the promise to produce good wine and to give you a pleasurable time on site or at home.
