Just the way you want it.
If you know when you want to come for a visit, then get down to business.
Of course you can drive to the German Wine Route off-chance. A spontaneous day trip to always a good idea.
But let us give you some advice: Depending on what time you want to come, a bit of planning is not amiss. On weekends or especially in the months of May, June, September and October, we are happy to have many guests and it can get crowded in the restaurant or wine bar.
If you plan a longer stay with overnight accommodation, then a reservation is more than just good advice, but a prerequisite for an unclouded stay without tiresome searching for accommodation on site. You can make better use of your time.
You can find out about available accommodation online in our reservation system or you can enquire directly with our hosts. However, if you still can't find anything on your desired date, this does not mean that all our beds are already fully booked.
This is where we come into play as your tourist information. Call us and tell us what you are looking for. We will then try to find the right bed for you. We know our hosts and can advise you and, in the best case, make a booking for you straight away.
The same applies to table reservations. Either ask directly at the restaurant or we can do it for you. Free of charge, of course.
We, at the Tourist Information office in Freinsheim, are also the first point of contact for guided tours in Freinsheim and the other villages in the holiday region or for vineyard hikes and programmes for groups.
